Review content:
I can unequivocably recommend Dr. Keating to anyone facing leukemia diagnosis. \r
\r
Dr. Keating is well liked amoung patients, staff and colleagues alike. In 23 years, I've never heard a single negative thing about him. He's a rare combination of polished professionalism, expert researcher, and experienced clinician dedicated to excellence in patient care. \r
\r
PERSONAL NOTE: In 1983, during my first year of adulthood, much to the relief of myself and my family, Dr. Keating and his specialized staff were able to correctly identify and treated my leukemia, after a host of doctors in my home state failed to do so. He continues to deliver compassionate care not only to myself the patient, but interacts well with family members helping them cope with my diagnosis, side effects and treatment modalities. \r
\r
Dr. Keating's determination in leukemia treatment, along with the entire staff of the Hematology Department of M D Anderson, has helped me live fully with an insidious disease my entire adult life. I've married, had a child, attained a pilot license, renovated several homes, travelled and continue to pursue my personal goals and dreams 23 years after our initial diagnosis, when some professionals predicted I'd be dead within 6 months to 5 years! I'm very glad I took a leap of faith all those years ago and sought a second opinion!\r
