VERY DISHONEST REPAIR SHOP!!! I thought Nick was a good guy but found out I was wrong. I took a surround sound receiver to him and knew what was wrong with it because its a known issue. I even brought the correct parts and schematics and asked him to just replace the parts and he agreed to do it for $30. A week later he called and said he fixed it and it tested working without replacing the parts. So I picked it up and paid the $30. Got home and hooked it up and nothing, still had the same issue so I took the receiver back to him not even an hour later and he said he would take it to have the parts soldered on due to a special tool needed. About 2 weeks later he called and said it was done and working perfectly, So I went and picked it up and he charged me another $40. he said that the parts were replaced and I should have no problems. Got home hooked it up and nothing again, he didn't fix a thing. I opened the unit and saw the parts were not replaced. So Back I went again. He said that the guy tested the parts and said they were working. I asked why he told me he replaced them. He said the guy said he did. So he said he would put the parts on finally. So now a month goes by and I heard nothing. I called and got the same speech that the parts weren't bad and that I should just trash the unit. So I go and pick my unit back up and asked if I could get SOME of my money back. He started crying about how much time he spent on it and that it wasn't fixable.
So I sent it to a guy on ebay that advertises that he fixes them in Arizona and a week later (including shipping) I have a perfectly working system again for $75!!! It is amazing how someone can spend so much time working on something and not fix it. All NSO ELECTRONICS did was take my hard earned money.
