William Stoerrle of Key Reality in Bethlehem PA is an incompetent appraiser. If he is sent by the bank to do an appraisal of your home you are safer and better off refusing it. You can indicate he has complains with BBB and the PA State Board of Certified Appraisers.\r
He did an appraisal of our house on 10/30/2012 and made obvious mistakes; the most blatant: indicating the house does not have a porch while the photo of the house on his own report cover shows it!\r
He refused to take in consideration the major updates we've done to the house and stated his only reason for stopping by to actually see the house is ""to make sure it's still there"". \r
This is an obvious case of ""drive by appraisal"". \r
We've complained to BBB and the PA State Board of Real Estate Appraisers - unfortunately they cannot also help with fixing the bad report. It's a shame license is extended to such poor professionals who are contributing to a bad housing market environment. \r
