Review content:
I have not shopped in this store for about 10 years and now I remember why. I did however this time to purchase a dress for my son's wedding from a suggestion from a friend. Before my purchase, I was given the ""red carpet"" treatment and prepaid for a dress in a color that they did not have in stock. My salesgirl, Inna was very nice and professional and she was why I did agree to that policy. When I came to get it fitted for alterations and Inna was not there, one would have thought that I had a disease by the way the other saleswomen avoided me. After coming back a week and a half later, the sleeves were crooked on the jacket and I had to return an hour and a half later. When I did, I was presented with a $90 bill which, in the 3 times I was there, was never told that I would owe for alterations. The manager Ellen was not there because they said she was having her hair done and did not want to bother her and/or couldn't be reached. I insisted that she be called. As above, she was very rude and stated that there is a sign on the counter that the customer would be charged for alterations. This is simply not true and of all the times I was there including two seamstresses fitting me, no one mentioned that information to me. After searching for a sign, the only one that was AROUND the corner was one that posted that hem alterations were free of charge. Now I remember why I will not shop there (nor should you) again.
