Review content:
I never write reviews, but I find it completely necessary to write a review on this place because I was so angered when I went in there the other day. I can't tell what the supplies are like, their quality, prices, etc... because I didn't even have a chance to look. I have heard from friends that they are very over priced. I went in the store the other day and new exactly what I was going to get. The sign said ""open"" but that they close at 5:00pm and it was 4:44pm. Great! I have 15 minutes, I thought. As soon as I opened the door, I saw the product immediately and went over to choose which one I wanted. An elderly lady at the cash register, who I believe is one of the owners, looking EXTREMELY frustrated that I was there, rudely said, ""Can I HELP you?"" which I thought was odd to ask anyway, since I had just walked in. I told her word-for-word, ""No thank you, I know what I want, I'm sorry - I know you're about to close in 15 minutes but...."" and she cut me off to say, again, as rude as can be, ""I am closing right now actually."" She continued to say that she already closed out her cash register. I walked out and said I won't be coming there again. Who wants to go to a store where the manager, or any employee at all is that rude??? Not to mention, the sign said OPEN, and it was only 4:44 (by the way, it was still 4:44 by the time I got back into my car. She didn't even give me a chance!! If you are going to close 15 minutes early, then don't have a sign that says OPEN and that you close at 5pm. You shouldn't close your cash register until exactly 5pm, or if you need to do it early, turn the sign around so it reads ""CLOSED"" and lock the door. AND if someone comes in, you should kindly apologize. What a crotchety old woman!! I recommend going to Truly Yours for party or gift supplies (which is where I ended up going) or the Dollar Tree, both within a half mile of this store. I would even drive to the next town to find a party store before giving that woman ANY business, and I would highly recommend everyone else do the same.
