This was probably the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel/motel. It's location on Main St. is about the only redeeming quality - thus not a zero rating. \r \r #1. They give away rooms. Did not get the room I wanted - got ""upgraded"" to a jacuzzi room and instead made me pay $10 more than I was originally quoted for the room I booked over a month ago. \r \r #2. The rooms absolutely REEK of mold and mildue. It was like being inside of a petri dish. I had to buy a can of Lysol just to make some of the stench go away - it didn't help. I wound up going to WalMart in the middle of the night to buy a sleeping bag and pillowcase because I was afraid of what might be on the comforter. The walls in the room have water leakage and stained wallpaper, with the walls spliiting apart due to water damage. The bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke. The drains were rusty and the floor was unmopped. The main living area was unvacuumed. The headboard of thebed had mold growing on it. The carpet was wet in random places.\r \r #3. I had a ""pharmaceutical"" dealer outside of my door signing rap songs and making deals and babbling over his cell phone at 3 AM. Unsettling to say the least.\r \r After all of that, I decided I had enought and wound up sleeping in my truck. \r \r Absolutely, positively not worth the $93.14 ($85+tax) paid. Pros: parking, location Cons: everything else
