Businiess name:  Sac's Place

Review content:
I live across the street from Sac's, and was totally ecstatic to have a new fine dining Italian restaurant in the neighborhood when it opened. And then I ate there. The food was generic and lackluster (were talkin' frozen cheapo calamari generic, in fact the calamari at Sanford's diner up the block greatly outdoes Sac's in quality), and generally oversalted. Now the brick oven pizza is actually mighty tasty, and would have saved the restaurant for me, had it not been for the excruciating prices. I spent (and this is no exaggeration) $52 on two small pizzas and an appetizer. Sure I had some toppings like garlic and anchovies, but I think anyone would agree prices like that are ridiculous. If Sac's can get it's act together, and lower it's prices, I would be keen on buying their brick oven pizza more often... but I think I will continue to avoid the calamari Pros: The place has a nice cozy feel Cons: the food is weak, the service is less than, and the prices are bankrupting.
