The owner-chef really knows her stuff! This was up-town fare in a small tourist town and a real surprise. Well-worth a return trip or three from Atlanta. The fresh spinach ravioli in pesto was absolutely the best I've ever had. I could taste everything individually, but it also all hung together with each flavor playing off the next. My wife's grilled shrimp was perfectly done--hot, but soft and tender. She also raved about the twice-baked potato and fresh, lightly cooked green beans. The atmosphere is homey, small cafe and a block above the main fray of Blue Ridge away from the main tourist flow. If you want great food, quiet conversation with well-picked background music, and no pressure to eat and run, this is the place. A perfect highlight to a day in the mountains or part of a weekend cabin get-away. Pros: Well-crafted food, comfortable-rustic setting. Cons: No wine license
