I have not seen Dr. Maggi myself, I was contemplating using his services when my research uncovered two disiplinary actions against him from the Texas Medical Board. Please do a search on their site to find the details. I have never met the man and have no agenda, but I will say that it did make me cancel my appointment.\r

I spoke with Dr. Maggi on the telephone today and he gave me his side of the story (as it pertains to the above mentioned events). I agreed that everyone deserves a second chance, and decided to put my money where my mouth is: I will be going in to see him for a consultation and if I'm an appropriate candidate for the procedure I'm seeking, will have him perform the surgery. I will keep you all up-to-date on how this goes!\r

I found Dr. Maggi's staff to be wonderful (loved Veronica!) I was given a tour (very nice surgical center), and they answered all of my questions. I find them reasonably priced and professional. With all of that said, I have decided to have my procedure done with another Dr. who's methods are more in line with my wishes.
