I stumbled into Village Cleaners after the place I normally go said they were unable to do my clothes because they were closed for the month of August. Yes, the whole month...which I thought was ridiculous, but that's a whole other review. Anyway, I needed my clothes somewhat quickly because we were going to a wake and funeral, and the man said that it wouldn't be a problem. I gave him a very large bag of clothes, all of which came back beautifully clean, refreshed, pressed, and not smelling like they were bathed in a mxture of toxic chemicals! (I'm sure they do use the chemicals, but the smell was not as overwhelming as usual). But my main reason for writing this review is the price! VERY reasonable. The other place I usually go (or went, because I won't be going back) was really high in comparison. I even had a sweater whose tag said not to use a specific chemical, and it came back perfect! It is a very expensive Prada sweater that I have been terrified to have cleaned. To sum it up: great service, very friendly, they do an excellent job with the clothes, and very good prices. I'd definitely recommend.
