Businiess name:  Kabuki Japanese Restaurant

Review content:
Kabuki is generally a great place to go, that is consistently of decent quality throughout the various locations. Cerritos however, is the exception to the rule. If looking to go to a Kabuki resturant Huntington Beach or Howard Hughes are much better alternatives... I would even opt for RA (which I don't like as much) over the Cerritos location of Kabuki. My complete review of my experience: For the most part if you go to Kabuki, you can expect a pretty good, somewhat americanized, Japanese food experience. The Cerritos location however, has the worst service I've experienced ever. The first time I went was evening and the waitress simply didn't do a good job checking in on us... I'm an easy patron, so it's normally not a big deal to me, just something that I do notice. The second time however, which was horrible enough for me to take the time to actually write a review, is a completely different story. Again, the food wasn't bad, but starting with my drink (which was simply a shot) we were already making errors. When I asked for the correct shot, instead of taking responsibility for the mistake, the waitress actually tries to argue with me; which of course is one of the major sins of good customer service. Then I ask for a ""half of a lemon"" and instead get one wedge; again, I'm easy so it's not that big of a deal, but I asked for ""half a lemon,"" now I have to wait for you to go get more wedges, when you could have just listened and got me what I asked for. The major incident that drove me to write this review was the fact that they over charged my credit card. Outside of serving someone something they're allergic to, this is the single-most epic ""mistake"" you can make; assuming of course it is a ""mistake."" When I called to have the charge corrected, I already did not believe it was a mistake, but I figured the manager has no reason to not help me, so no biggie... boy was I wrong. The manager, much like the waitress, tried to tell me I must have made a mistake and that I in-fact did write-in a $15 tip on a $25 order... c'mon lady! She actually started yelling at me and telling me how she didn't ""appreciate"" me accusing her waitress of over-charging me... WHAT?!?!? This place has decent food, but horrible service; in addition to apparently a dishonest staff. Pros: Reasonably priced, decent quality, consistent Cons: terrible service, slow, cold, unfriendly
