Businiess name:  Red Barn Computers

Review content:
Red Barn Computers is totally incapable of doing the job they claim they do and fail even worse at customer service.\r \r When my PC went down Red Barn offered to test the power supply so I could determine what needed to be replaced. They said the power supply was fine; leading me to purchase a $200+ system replacement (motherboard, cpu, ram) rather than a $70 replacement power supply.\r \r The new parts didn't work, leading me to track down a spare power supply only to discover that the power supply, was in fact, bricked and the cause of the problems.\r \r When I returned the new parts to Red Barn they refused to refund me, despite having sold me the parts on their bad diagnostic advice.\r \r Red Barn offered store credit and took the parts to test them. The following week Red Barn claimed the parts were fried and wouldn't give me credit.\r \r The parts weren't fried when I returned them. Red Barn said I must have done it with a bad standoff. Only problem with their accusation is that I did the assembly on an anti-static mat so the parts never touched standoffs or my case.\r \r This is the same place that couldn't correctly identify a dead power supply so my suspicions that their carelessness and/or incompetence harmed the parts during testing are justified.\r \r After having experience with both Red Barn Computer's repair services and sales departments I cannot recommend this store to anyone for any reason whatsoever.\r \r This was not just the worst computer parts retail experience I've ever had, it was by far the worst retail experience I've ever had of any type.\r \r The combination of deception and baseless accusations make Red Barn's business practices downright offensive, inappropriate, and undeniably amateur.\r \r I knew that brick and mortar stores were having trouble competing with primarily online retailers, but I never expected Red Barn Computers to resort to lying and cheating the customer. Pros: None identifiable. Cons: Willing to lie and cheat the customer. Incompetent at the job. No guarantees.
