Review content:
I have visited this place many times in the past few months. Once when the place was busy and once when the place was slow. Both times were very enjoyable. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the Japanese music was not too loud, which was nice for conversations.\r
\r
At my first visit, I was not feeling my best so decided against eating sushi, but still wanted Japanese food. I order some tea, which was wonderful! Brought out in an actual teapot rather than left on the table in a cheap plastic teapot. My dinner was tasty and displayed beautifully on its plate, the chief must have been taught well for that kind of an arrangement. Even though the place was busy, the server was very attentive to my needs.\r
\r
My second visit, since I was so impressed the first time, was a lot less busy than my first. I ordered sushi this time, a few rolls and one of the specials and was highly impressed with the quality and the taste. The wasabi and ginger seem to be the real deal, not the fake bright green wasabi most places have. The ginger wasn't died pink and I overhead a customer as the sushi chief about it and the chief said it was organic. Apparently they try to use organic as much as they possibly can.\r
\r
Note: for those who are wondering, yes I am a waitress at a sushi restaurant. Yet not this one, sadly. This seems like a nice place to work.
Pros: Ambience, parking, service, food, price, variety.
Cons: Smaller place so large parties (more than six) might be hard to sit if busy.
