Was thinking about joining this Gym but... I just viewed the latest ad campaign for Equinox Fitness Clubs which was featured in Boston Magazine, and was totally outraged. It features a group of nuns in garter-belts admiring a nearnaked man.\r \r I have worked in the fashion industry and have been a subscriber to various fashion magazines. I understand the point of advertising is to entice the consumer to purchase a product. In the fashion industry, nearnaked models are utilized tremendously because obviously, it sells! While I may not agree with a few of these ads, I understand the concept behind it and can easily turn the page if I don't like what I'm looking at.\r \r However, in this case, I just couldn't look away because it sickened and angered me greatly to see Catholic nuns depicted in such a deplorable manner. I am asking all of you to view the ad and if you are as dismayed and offended as I am, please call Equinox Fitness Headquarters at 212-677-0180 and state your concerns or complaints! I'm hopeful that with your help, this ad will be pulled immediately.
