I grew up as a student of Bateman in the 80's. I returned several years ago when I enrolled my son. I was very much surprised and delighted by the dramatic changes that had taken place there!\r
The staff are extremely compassionates towards all of the students. Teachers work hard to give each and every student one of a kind learning experiences - things I never had the opportunity to be a part of when I was younger. They get to participate in things such as ""pseudo"" camping trips, history fairs, business fairs, field trips to amazing places, constitution jeopardy, and so much more. The teachers really think outside of the box when it comes to finding ways to engage the kids while they learn. \r

Aside from the everyday, students are offered a variety of other activities to be involved in. Basketball, softball, soccer, tennis, chess, ballroom dancing, the environmental club, band, and modeling are just to name a few. \r

Many opportunities are also given to parents in order to encourage their involvement. There is a Bilingual Advisory Committee, Parent Advisory Committee, Local School Council, Family Reading Night, Movie Nights, Beautification Projects, Open House, International Day Celebrations, and much more. The building is absolutely beautiful inside. The engineering and custodial staff keep it immaculate. Each year, the test scores continue to rise. \r

I'm very proud to be a part of the things that happen at Bateman and am happy to say that I am a graduate and a parent of a student there!
Pros: Many student activities, great staff, computer lab, science lab, bright and inviting library, parent computers and workshops, and much more.
