I called Saturday morning requesting service since my Central AC went out and it is a heat wave weekend 108'+. The On-Call Service Tech called me back stating he would charge $145hr incl his travel time from home in Castro Valley to Pittsburg, min travel fee $300, plus $145hr. If parts were needed then extra fee to open store or pick up part +mileage. If I waited till Monday still mileage and $95hr. The Tech stated fees are high since he does not want to work on weekends and he could not even speak english very good and I do not speak spanish. This company was out to just take advantage of my situation and me. I found a servce tech from another company that would only charge $65 flat fee for the service call and would submitt quote.
