If you have time to wait for 2 hours and sit down in one of its 15 seats and eat, then they will serve you great fish, best in Boston, and that's saying a lot since I've been to and frequented Ginza, Fugakyu, kayuga, Blue fin, Clio (Uni sashimi bar), kokokabuya, gyuhama, tokyo city, you name it! BUT----and there is a big ""but""... often when you order TAKE OUT the fish quality is as bad as supermarket quality. Big disappointments. Save Oishii for the days you have time to wait for a long time, otherwise it is hit or miss. I thought they just had a bad day but this has happened more than once and the people sitting down (when I pick up my food) are eating better quality fish.
Pros: best fish sometimes, friendly staff
Cons: long long wait, inconsistent quality., no reservations
