Businiess name:  My Big Fat Greek Gyro

Review content:
We had been told about My Big Fat Greek Gyro by a friend who had fallen in love with the place, and so we had to see for ourselves. The dining room was shockingly small, and we had to wait for a table. The people taking the orders were the same people who were preparing the orders and they used a little electronic meat shaver to slice the gyro meat off of the big loaf. This is a speciality place, so there wasn't a lot of variety to choose from on the menu. The fries were very generic, and the grape leaves were good, but not very authentic. The soda fountain was self-serve and didn't have a good selection because some of the syrups were empty. But when we bit into our gyros, we knew that it doesn't get any better than this. They heaped on a big pile of gyro meat on a nice fresh pita, and tossed on plenty of onions and a cup of delicious cucumber sauce. The fries were unnecessary, because the gyro was so large and delicious, it was a meal in itself, for around five dollars. While talking with the owner, we discovered that his uncle was the guy who ran the original gyro shop on West Liberty Avenue in Dormont, where I ate my first gyro. Talk about a family business! They certainly know where to buy the best gyro meat. I've been eating these wonderful concoctions most of my life, and this was the best one I've ever had! They had a lot of customers picking up gyros to-go, and this kind of slowed down getting orders to people sitting at the very few dining room tables. I'll stop again soon to see if they've worked out a better system during their busy times. Pros: EXCELLENT GYROS and reasonable prices Cons: Small dining room
