Review content:
I booked Morton Taxi a day ahead for my wife to get to OHare from Oak Park. The driver showed up 10 min late even though she called to reconfirm before 10 am. Along the way, the driver asked if Roosevelt could get to the airport... Uh oh...\r \r My wife checked her itinerary and realized I made a mistake on which airport she had to go to, and realized it in plenty of time to get to Midway, but the driver didn't know how to get to Midway, either, turning the wrong way on Cicero. Midway is on Cicero... We're new to the area, so my wife didn't know what was happening (it's why we called a cab). An experienced cabbie would have known where to go and how to weave around traffic, let alone avoiding a wrong turn at a bad time...\r \r To top it off, when they got to Midway, the driver didn't know what the flat-rate charge was. One would think he could have called his dispatcher during the 45-min ordeal rather than spring his ignorance on her when he pulled up to the curb. She filled in $40 and ran off, barely making her flight. It's a toss up if her luggage will arrive, compounding the problem.\r \r I called Morton and they admitted the driver had less than 2 wks experience (and apparenly little training). I asked them to reverse the charge. The guy said he couldn't do that and there was no one around to take my complaint. \r \r Long story short, DO NOT USE MORTON CAB if you are on schedule and want good service.\r Pros: Dispatcher answered the phone when I called the day before Cons: Inexperienced driver; lack of customer service to handle complaint
