Review content:
I have dined at St. Jaque's twice, and both times were fabulous. The first time I dined there, the owner (Lil) came over to meet me. The next time I called for reservations, he knew who I was! I called to make reservations on Christmas Eve, and initially they planned not to be open. However, the next day Lil called and said that he had decided to open up for that night since he had a few patrons that had expressed an interest. Lil waited on us personally for the entire evening. The wine (1990 Simard - St. Emilion) was one of the best wines I have ever enjoyed (better than the 1998 Lafite Rothschild Paullic I had). The food was exquisite, and the deserts were wonderful. My girl-friend is French Canadian, and she thorughly enjoyed the experience, comparing the restaurant favorably to Montreal French restaurants. I will be back!
Pros: Service, Food, Wine
