Review content:
Airmax is absolutely the worst repair company I've ever worked with. I truly believe that most companies are honest and that issues arise from simple misunderstandings. That's not the case with Airmax - they are more dishonest than you can imagine. There are too many air conditioning repair companies in the DFW area for you to put up with the incompetence and dishonesty of Airmax!\r
\r
Not only did Airmax take 38 days to repair my air conditioner, they charged me hundreds of dollars for items that a city inspector and their own repairmen said were in perfect working condition. In fact, each of the 3 technicians they sent to our house came up with a different list of ""critical"" items that needed replacement. I am an American Home Shield customer, so AHS forced me to continue using Airmax even after I expressed my concerns. We had a choice of paying for the extra items or delaying the repairs even further. After 38 days of a Dallas summer without air conditioning, we chose to pay the excess charges.\r
\r
We attempted to discuss our questions with the company owners (Scott and Art), but they were unable during the 38 day repair period to find a few minutes to speak with us. \r
\r
If you need the work done correctly and in a timely manner, avoid these clowns!
