I couldn't just stand by and not respond to Kurtss's bitter and, I think, unfair comment... I happen to know that there was a lot more to the story than what he mentioned - for example, that he had been notified of the store's trade policy by the staff (not to mention, the policy is available to read on the store's website) or that the owner never even saw his ""pregnant wife."" In my personal experience, the staff at Buy the Book has always been friendly and professional, and very open about its various policies. Me and my friends have been treated with respect whenever we'd visit for a cup of coffee or for a study session. I've also bought and traded some books there and never had or heard any complaints. So please don't give up on Buy the Book just because of one negative comment... I'd hate for such a great local business to lose the customers and recognition it deserves!
