We were looking for somewhere we hadn't been, and picked this because of the reasonable price range and promise of interesting cuisine. The food was great, I must say. I had paella, and it was bursting with flavor. I liked it better than the one I had at the lovely Mallorca restaurant, where I found it to be a bit dull. Note that at BB it has a touch of heat and lots of spice. My husband had the grilled skewers of meat and veggies with pineapple. It was also delicious. The mohito was a little off, but the fruit smoothie-like drink I had (maybe a bit too sweet) and the lemonade our friend had were fresh and tasty. The desserts were fantastic. The Chocolate Island and the Chocolate Pineapple Upsidedown Cake are surprisingly well done, attractive and delicious. The appetizer came to our table slowly, but the entrees were close behind. Our waiter was very good - patient, helpful and attentive. The hostesses, however, were a bit dour and failed to help our late-arriving guest to our table, even though we left his name with one of them. I gave this restaurant three stars, just based on the food and waiter. It would have been one or two based on the unappealing ambiance and condition of the place.\r

We were surprised at how huge this place was. It has a sort of fake Florida/tropical facade. There are lots of windows to look out of, but what you see and hear through them is mostly highway. The interior is dark and has a chaotic feel, because of the size, layout and oversized decor. It was also pretty noisy, as the sound of people talking and the music bounced around the space. Our table was sticky, and the bench seat was too low. OK for families, but not cozy, and certainly not romantic. We prefer more intimate spaces and treatment, so we probably won't be back. It's too bad, because the food is worthwhile.
Pros: Great food, generous portions, good waiters, easy parking, reasonable prices
Cons: Terrible views outside, huge space gives uncomfortable feel, noisy
