So,
I started dancing here about three months ago. I've been wanting to take ballroom classes for long time and finally worked up the courage to sign up for the classes to train for competition. Long story short, after my first two classes, I signed up for more, submitted my application for work study, found a dance partner, joined the college program and started taking private lessons because I enjoyed it so much.
I've danced in the past, but I knew that ballroom, especially competition, was going to be a new realm. Everyone at the studio was extremely helpful; my first private lesson was great and the teacher was so helpful; she helped me gauge where I stood and what classes to take to improve. Basically, after that point I hit the ground running and the staff and instructors at dancesport were so helpful.
