I have to say due to a really really bad experience with an independent plumber a few years back, I almost have an anxiety attack if I think I might need a plumber. I'm happy to be able to say though that my entire experience with Roto Rooter was positive I live in the Livonia area, where we recdently had several water main breaks. The city repaired their end of it but it left me with a backed up basement drain . They were pleasant, courteous and helpful on the phone when I was trying to set up an appointment. Indicated they would have someone here between 8:00am and 5:00 pm the next day. They promised me the plumber would call about half an hour before he would be here. As promised he called, showed up at the time he had said. His name was Kendall, and was cheerful, helpful, very direct and straight forward. Checked everything out to narrow down the problem, said my main drain was clear and went to work on the problem. He was quick, and had the job done in about an hour. The problem was solved and the price was reasonable. I am definitely a happy camper. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.
