We tried snaking out the main drain (of the 50 year-old Livonia home we moved into a year ago) ourselves 3 times over the last 5 months only to find out that the snake we rented from Home Depot was 50 feet and our main drain ran a total of 93 feet. After viewing the length of our drain with their camera, our efforts had barely addressed the roots in the pipes. Roto-Rooter came out within two hours of the call. They weren't cheap, but after throwing away hundreds of dollars on rental equipment and nearly 20 disgusting hours of my do-it-yourself time delaying the inevitable, my wife and I are happy to say we can shower and flush at the same time - Guaranteed! The technician they sent, Pat Walsh, was highly proficient. I’d recommend this company highly.
