It's been difficult to find a stylist since my move from Hawaii. I found a great one in Phoenix--though trial and horrific error--and now that we have moved to chandler, it's almost like dating all over again. You don't want the mistakes you've made in the past, you set the bar even higher and you're hoping to find THE ONE.\r

So my gun shy self decided to try another place; Flirt Salon, after I put in ""dry cut"" in the google search. Dry cut technique always yields the best results. There are no surprises, no hair shrinkage after the blow dry so your long fringe ends up looking like baby bangs, etc.\r

I have important events coming up, and Kara (the salon concierge) was able to fit me in and work with my schedule. After telling her some of my concerns she recommended Autumn to me and my appointment was set.\r

Yani (the owner) greeted me upon entering and took the time to talk to me before I saw Autumn, Yani shows a great regard for her customers and she really cares about making sure her customers are happy. \r

I'm finicky about my hair. VERY FINCKY. I have straight, soft Asian hair that tends to be on the finer side. I find that a lot of stylists have difficulty with my hair or end up styling me uber Asian with the prerequisite over textured ends or super blunt straight cut. Autumn listed to me, and was patient as I showed her every cut I loved and loathed. I told her what I didn't like about my current cut, and she educated me on what had happened. As she combed my hair out, she showed me how one side had layers ONE INCH SHORTER THAN THE OTHERS!!! \r

Autumn blew my hair dry and began precision cutting. She was honest, informative and efficient. Everyone at Flirt was so sweet, even when my toddler was being less than cooperative. Autumn's focus and technique were spot on and I could see how detailed her cut was. Gradually, I saw my hair being transformed. ""It's all in the layers,"" Autumn explained. With a few finishing touches I could see that my style had returned! I love the products that were suggested to me, and I didn't feel pressured to buy anything (although I pretty much bought it all). \r

As I checked out, I spoke to Yani again and was so happy to hear about Flirt Salons constant training, belief in continuous education, and belief in educating their clients. \r

What a wonderful experience! If this were dating, I would definitely call right away and set up a second date. I'm all about long term relationships and I think I may have found THE ONE.\r
