I've been going to Flirt Salon for a year now, and have loved every visit. The staff is beyond friendly. (One time the receptionist,Kara, helped me carry some things from the nearby grocery store out to my car.)
The salon itself has a hip but unpretentious atmosphere that is right up my alley.
Then there is the massage hair washing experience. Love.
Then there is Cynthia, who does an amazing blow-out, and and equally amazing cut. I don't color my hair, but Cynthia did a friend's color (blond on brownish hair), and it was great. She also listens to what you want (i.e. cut a little actually means cut a little), but will not let you fall victim to an ill-advised whim (i.e. she gently persuaded me that my natural color is great, and that I don't need to color my hair, one day when I was in the mood for a ""change."" Crises averted). When she blows out my hair, I always get a million compliments on it. She is awesome.
Once, when Cynthia wasn't available, I went to Autumn, who did a fabulous job. She also Waxed my eyebrows expertly. I think it's important that a salon have a team of great stylists, in case you have to go to a new person in a hair-mergency when your regular person is booked. This salon is no one-hit wonder.
In a word: Love. If you're on the fence, get off of it and get to Flirt Salon. Your hair, will thank you.
