Review content:
I took Swarthout from my school in upstate New York to New Jersey many times in the past. It is slightly cheaper than major bus lines and is pretty convenient. One plus is that they have a raffle for about $25 or $30 for each bus. They put all tickets in a bag and have a rider draw a name. The price difference between Swarthout and some major bus companies has declined slightly though. I think it is still a little cheaper though. It is pretty reliable, but I have heard of buses being cancelled due to an insufficient number of passengers. I guess that is a tradeoff for being a smaller company.
