Businiess name:  Shants Watch Repair

Review content:
Shant has been here for several years and has a loyal clientele, including some celebrities and collectors. Before I started coming here, I did not realize there was an obsession with antique watches or clocks, but apparently it is a growing field for collectibles, with 40 to 80 year old Rolexes and Patek Philips selling occasionally in the millions. Like many merchants in this field, Shant comes from a long line of watch repairers, being the 6th generation to carry on the tradition. Not only does he fix your old or new watches and return them better than ever, he also buys the antique variety and restores them. He has quite a great collection for sale, most between $400 - $1000. Something about an old watch on the wrist seems both attractive and refined. He has literally thousands of watch parts, which means that he can pretty much fix anything you give him. His prices are reasonable and he will give you an estimate when you come in. Of course, he is expert at an even rarer skill - antique clocks! The antique clock and Grandfather clock owners and collectors are happy to know him, for he is a whizz at repairing them and is one of the rare few people in LA who is qualified to repair them. The other one being his son! He does guarantee his work, but don't come by and tell him your watch mysteriously stopped working - he knows your watch intimately, far better than you, and will detect the bumps and scratches of shock, or the residual traces of water that got your watch damaged once again. Shame on you!
