Review content:
I went to early options about a year ago and meant to write a review then- also, I see a lot of people being skeptical on this site, so I thought I'd help out with that! When I found out I was pregnant it was very difficult to find information about where I could go besides Planned Parenthood (a place I think is soo important and I'm so happy they exist, and I've gone to PP for years when I didn't have insurance but found the experience a bit jarring, and knew emotionally I couldn't handle that level of stress during that time). My regular OBGYN recommended EO. So the nitty gritty: - small office. they actually spend time to explain everything, sit down with you, walk you through the whole process, answer questions, my boyfriend was with me the whole time and also asked a lot of questions, they will NOT RUSH YOU out the door like most doctors, they don't judge, they make you feel comfortable, clean rooms, friendly and knowledgeable assistants, phone receptionist friendly, friendly-intelligent doctor who sits down with you as well and takes the time to get to know you. I wish all doctors were like that. For a medical experience that was very sad and hard for me, it was the most positive I could have experienced. yes, it's expensive, it was $600 but I was able to put in on my medical spending account- so free for me. the actual aspiration is quick, and painful (sharp cramping). Afterwards I was cramping intensely for about a full day. If I remember this was because we terminated very early in the pregnancy. A year later, I am healthy and much more financially stable and got married and we're now ready for a family. We were not ready a year ago and I am still glad we went through the procedure as it was the best decision. so EO is a safe place, where you will not be judged, and will be treated with respect and dignity and privacy. The office is like any other midtown office- as if you're going to the dentist's office or something, without crazy pro-lifers blocking the door. Pros: friendly, private, personal, quick Cons: somewhat expensive (but so worth it)
