I didn't have too much to move - a bed + frame, night stand, chair, big dresser, and 2 heavy boxes. All of it was pretty expensive so i was a little nervous. We were moving from my bedroom on the second floor of a house to an apartment on the 3rd floor - no elevator! So lots of heavy lifting up 3 flights of stairs. I was quoted a price between $200 and $400, no other fees, included. The final price ended up being $250 - yaya! And, he was true to his word - no other fees.
Adam and his team showed up early, which was pretty impressive! Before they started moving they offered two types of insurance should anything be damaged. One was free and I believed covered you for damage at .69 cents per pound up to some amount which i cannot remember. The other insurance cost ~$99 and covered for full damages up to some amount i cannot remember. i opted for free insurance.
I'm happy to say that all my furniture was moved smoothly. No damages and they were pretty quick. One problem is that i cannot figure out how to lock the wheels of my bed but i don't think that's their fault. I'm not sure they unlocked the wheels.
Highly recommended.
