i was very anxious about someone else moving my and my GF's stuff. i have heard many horror stories about movers ripping people off, damaging their furniture, and not showing up on time.
well, basic moving put me at ease. Stan was very professional and told me up front what was going on. he could tell i was a little nervous and he calmed me down. Russell and Taras were respectful and courteous as well.
My move was a local move in brooklyn and only took a couple of hours. Stan and his crew were careful with our stuff and wrapped up all the furniture in blankets and tape.
I used friends to help and rented trucks before but no more! it was very convenient and easy to schedule the move with Basic Moving.
I would recommend this company to all my friends.
Pros: cost was less than estimate, professional, efficient, nice
Cons: none that i can think of
