Hi again Amanda.
OK, this is the group I went to after leaving Ironwood. At the time, this group of docs was officially associated with the birth center at TMC. The have since left there. I'm not sure of the official connection between them anymore.
I DO know that they worked with me to try to let me have the birth center experience that I wanted. My first was a preemie and I was a "high risk" patient with my second pregnancy as well. I ended up having my boy at the hospital and not the birth center. However, I loved this group for trying to make my dream possible. (My current doc, since my 2nd preg., is Dr. Vrtiska. He dealt w/the "high risk" patients through the birth center.) I do not have long waits at this office. The staff seems pretty good. (Not rude or anything, not overly friendly, just efficient.) I would recommend Dr. Vrtiska.
If you haven't lined up anyone yet, I'd recommend calling and interviewing any of the docs at this office. Dr. Chin actually delivered my baby boy.
All the docs that were there that day were good. My baby survived and is now a healthy, happy 5 year old!!!
