Businiess name:  Metro-Erie Meals On Wheels
Review by:  Bev P.
Review content:
If you have the ability to deliver meals to shut ins and those in need, this is a wonderful opportunity to do so. The program is a nonprofit organization, which runs with mainly if not completely, volunteers. Many elderly, especially in the winter time, need someone to just check in on them and see how they are doing. While you bring them a hot meal they not only get a small touch of comaradarie but also someone to make sure they're doing ok. This program has been around Erie for quite some time and is an excellent resource for volunteers and homebound alike. If you can't make your own meals and can't get out, give them a call. They can help you. If you have a few hours a week to make some runs for them... give them a call...you can help them!
