Review content:
While nobody relishes having to make certain decisions in their life about putting a loved one in an eldercare facility, this center makes it much less stressful for you. The caregivers are very loving and caring. The atmosphere, while some areas have to be more hospital like, is generally attempting to give the patients a home like atmosphere.
Their alzheimers unit is one of the best I've ever seen. I have seen remarkable feats performed with people that would otherwise sit in a chair and just exist. These patients are very high maintenance and high care patients and St. Mary's doesn't hesitate to be there for them.
The biggest drawback of St. Mary's is that I believe there is a long waiting list to get in! It's truly that incredible of a retirement home!
I would recommend this place to anyone who is put in the dreaded position of where to place a loved one you can no longer care for.
