Review content:
This was our first time to the Silver Grille celebrating a family birthday, driving in from the big city burbs of Lake Oswego/West Linn. What a gem this place is! The decor is contemporary, yet warm. The wait staff friendly, attentive and right there when you need them. Even the owner helps out as needed to serve or refresh the water glasses. The menu is limited to a few entrees, but there is quite a variety and something for everyone...the meat eater to the vegetarian. The lamb was amazing, or so I am told, and the Morroccan chicken was light, moist and tender. Presentation is five star. And ooooh the desserts! Try the key lime pie, which rumor has it that the owner makes it himself. To. Die. For. Dinner was well paced, and not too fussy. It's casual, yet elegant somehow melded into one. A nice selection of lite jazz plays very softly, adding to the experience. We will be back soon! Well worth the drive to this quaint little downtown to enjoy a big city restaurant experience. Pros: Ambiance, Service, Menu, Music, Decor, Food Presentation
