Businiess name:  Doctor's House Call

Review content:
I went for emergency unexpected surgery Jan 2nd,ended up first on life support, then sent to nursing rehab until mid -February. I had a broken cyst (I was unaware of it) poisoning me and contracted MRSA staph on top of that. My ins cut me once I could walk again and sent me home for home care with a wound vac. Doctor's house call was my assigned medical care. They came out quickly, not a doctor but a nurse practitioner and assistant. They do a basic question and answer session and check your vitals. That is fine but from there went downhill. I was having problems with my wound vac and wound site during a routine visit. My weekly nurse asked me if they could check for the wound vac leak since she was not scheduled that day and she was swamped. After all they were also my home health care. I asked. The assistant looked uncomfortable and said she wasn't qualified that the NP had to do it. The NP did not check the wound but told me it would ""probably be fine "" until my reg nurse got there. Then they left They also said they were sending someone to do xrays of my lungs and an EKG .Ok fine. I ask also for a leg ultrasound as being on life support had caused nerve damage in both legs from being on my back so long. They said ok and upped the dosage of my meds for the nerve pain. They never showed up to do the leg ultrasound but did the ekg and lung xray. I kept asking for the leg doppler because the pain and swelling in one leg was very different from the nerve pain in the other leg(and still is) Again they said they would give me one In the meantime after weeks and in spite of repeated calls no results on the EKG or lung xray and no scheduling for the leg doppler After many calls from both me and my reg nurse they scheduled the leg doppler but when the tech showed up to do it they had the wrong leg listed to be done.At first the tech said she could not do it at all because she could not go against orders. Finally after 30 minutes of arguing that I had waited two months for this and the leg pain was getting worse ( I was wanting them to check for a blood clot) she agreed to go ahead and do it. That was six weeks ago. I am still trying to get the results. My leg is getting worse and nobody ever calls me back. Then, I am on water pills and high blood pressure meds and have congestive heart failure. Before my surgery I took two prescription water pills a day for edema. I was taken off one because I was on a foley catheter for weeks after surgery. Lately my edema has been so badI can barely move so I asked to have my second dose back.I was told yes but when my script was filled it was still a single dose. So my reg home nurse called the actual home care doctor because she was concerned for me I was swelling up so much.he told her he would ok the double dose and to go ahead and double up on the ones I had already. So I did. I just now called the pharmacy for a refill. That Doctor never called them or my ins so now I can not get my pills until May 7th so The edema is once again getting bad . and I STILL have no reply to this or the results of my doppler. In the meantime the affected leg is swollen , red and hot and the rest of me is puffing up from water retention while I am still healing from a major wound from the MRSA. I would never use this company again. The NP and assistant are nice enough and relay the info. But somewhere between the doctor and the rest of the staff there is no communication.Phone calls are not returned or when I reach someone nobody ever knows my history or what is going on. Finally weeks later during another routine visit after me asking for about the 10th time they gave me the ekg and lung results
