My husband and I took our rings in to be cleaned and checked and to have a prong fixed on my solitaire diamond. The sales woman greeted us and asked us if we had our paperwork. I have never been asked that before. When I said no she said "" well I guess we can work something out"" I was suprised by that comment because all of our info is in the computer and we had never been asked that before. She took our rings and I saw her cleand them. She brought them back to us and said they looked great but the top part of my diamond ring would have to be replaced soon. I was suprsed by that because I did not see her look at it under the microscope and the ring is just over 2 yrs old. I said as m;uch to her and asked her about theprong. She said in a very condescending voice "" the top of the ring will need to be r eplaced, the prong is not bent, is there anything else I can do for you today?"". It seemed like we were inconveniencing her even thouhg we were the only ones in the store at that time. I looked at her and said no and my husband and I turned to walk away. As we turned I heard a loud sound and when I looked back I saw that she had slammed the binder she was holding onto the contertop. I have never recieved such poor service at this store. The date was 7-5=08 and it was somewhere around noon. There were 2 women working that day and I recognized Elaine as one of them. She was not the one who gave us the horrible service, it was the other woman. I expect much more from a well established jeweler like Reeds.
