Free Valet! Host Marco DiMarco is a wonderful Italian gentleman who seated us. We had a wonderful appetizer combination with mixed bruschetta, proscuitto and fresh mozzarella, fresh rapini and asparagus as well as a combination of both grilled calamari and grilled octopus. Our bottle of wine, a 1997 Brunello was affordable and went perfecly with everything. After two nice salads, we split a veal special and a pasta...medallions of veal served with mixed peppers and jumbo shrimp in a wonderful tasting light wine sauce. The pasta was fettucini with mussels, clams, calamari and jumbo shrimp served in a light tomato sauce. Both were wonderful. We ended dinner with tiramisu (awesome), two esspresso's and a snifter of grappa. I was very pleased...you will be to when you get to this gem in the subburbs. I live in Evanston...the drive only took us about 30 minutes...and it was worth it.
