I read the reviews on Citysearch and was expecting some decent food. I was so dissappointed!!! The food at porterhouse reminded me of room service gone wrong. Not to say it wasn't decent, but for the price, DEFINITELY not worth it. Spend the extra $20 or so to get some quality food elsewhere, please!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to say the appetizer was decent. The salad was not fresh and tasted stale, as if it had been swimming in dressing for a while and sitting out. The steak was much better than anything else at dinner, but still really mediocre. Given I am a huge dessert fan and probably more critical than I should be, I really thought dessert was horrible. The chocolate lava cake I got lacked the ""lava"" component and overall it was just really dry and tasteless. AVOID unless you are looking for mediocre food!!!!!!!!
