Review content:
While our deepest sympathies go out to the owner of this unfortunate and tragic incident, I Steve Coburn, the owner, believe we here at Country- Aire take every precaution to prevent such incidents from occurring. While bloating is common among dogs, big chested dogs are more susceptible. It's for this exact reason that we rest ALL dogs for 45 minutes after they've eaten. This woman's Great Dane was no exception. I was personally there the evening prior to, and the dog was exhibiting NO signs of any problem. It was during the night that the bloating occurred and being discovered first thing the following morning, was immediately transported to the veterinarian's office. Our heart goes out to the owner, as every pet owner who has lost a pet knows the pain and sadness associated with such a loss. We feel for your loss too! I wish to assure this owner, as well as the over 15,000 other owners who trust us with their loved ones, that we try exceedingly hard to take the best care possible of your pet, and it pains us deeply when, in your eyes, we fall short of that goal.
