Review content:
Promaster was hired by me (4/4/12) to fix my kitchen ceiling. They were to fill and feather-in all of the uneven surfaces and repair any voids etc. by skim coating the ceiling, priming , re-filling and painting. I informed them that my kitchen cabinets were just refinished and that I wanted them to protect them from paint splatter. I returned home to find that Promaster had used an oil-based primer on my kitchen ceiling and had gotten paint splatter all over my newly refinished cabinets. Additionally, they had gotten paint splatter all over my wood trim, counters, and sink. They dented and scratched my major appliances and failed to prepare the ceiling surface as promised. I put stickers on my ceiling pointing out areas that needed to be fixed prior to painting. Promaster removed the stickers on two seperate occasions and informed me that they had addressed my concerns, only to paint right over the unprepared areas without fixing them as stated. I also have a few areas of the ceiling to which they did not adequately apply paint. Promaster owner, Frank Benjamin, lied to my face twice by telling me he had addressed my concerns, when in fact, he never even made an attempt. They failed to use adequate lighting during painting, which contributed to the poor quality workmanship I was provided. I was just relieved to have them get the !@#$ out of my house!
