Review content:
Having pulled aside as much as possible in a packed roundabout outside of the big black box (where Regence Blue Cross is located), I waited the for my husband to come down. A couple of minutes after I pulled in, a MercuryPDX driver pulled in behind me, seemingly struggling with the same packed conditions. He slowly inched his way closer to my car, but I had nowhere to go. Then, he got out of his car and approached my window; when I rolled it down, rather than politely ask if I would mind rounding the block, he said ""Do you realize you are wasting us money?"" (The driver had included another patron in his rant, who approached me after MPDX's driver's hostile outburst and said not to pay attention to him). MercuryPDX's driver then told me that by staying put he could call the cops and have me arrested for kidnapping, which is ludicrous. I was waiting like everyone else. Ultimately, I pulled into the street and parked illegally in a loading zone because his aggressive behavior seemed to escalate when I told him that talking to people that way wasn't going to get him what he wanted.
This was my first encounter with this business, and I can guarantee that I will never use their services.
I have reviewed their website and understand the mission of their company, but there is a way of accomplishing such goals without harassing the general public, all of whom are potential clients, which their driver might be in need of remembering. I know that the holidays are stressful, but I imagine that even in the holidays (if not especially) most people would expect more from Portland's ""premier delivery service since 2000,"" and I would hope that they expect more from their employees
