Review content:
This is one of the best places to be on a Sunday morning!! The reason for my excitement is that we found this church after a few months of visiting several (nearly a dozen) churches in Salt Lake metro. Life Church (also called Valley Assembly) has an amazing worship team, which is full of zeal and passion and nice music! Congregation is very lively in worshipping God. The pastor is AWESOME! He is a very good teacher/pastor and his expository teachings are certainly the highlight of the church! He makes his point in a subtle manner, without resorting to condemning or criticizing anyone. At the same time, he stands up for issues that Christians need to stand up for. He truly cares for his congregation, and is very personable. I have met him a few times, and enjoyed the conversations.
The music team is youthful, and lively, and their choice of songs is very good. We can definitely feel the presence of the Holy Spirit during the services. Add to it, they have a wonderful collection of DVDs, books, CDs and tapes in the Church library, and the librarian is one of the friendliest people you can meet.
Also, I appreciate the flexibility, as there are 2 Sunday morning services, and a separate Spanish service!
Pros: Nice Teachings, friendly people, awesome worship!
