Man, I love Action Auto Repair. I used to drive past them all the time. They had a sign out for $10 rock chip repair so I went there after Jiffy Lube told me I had a ton of rock chips they wanted to repair (for like $25 each). The guy at the front desk at Action climbed up on my hood and examined my windshield, and touched some spots, and was like, ""Wellll, you have a lot of rock chips...but they've all been filled."" No charge. We've been back several times. They're always GREAT about explaining what's going on with our old car. They let us know what MUST be done, what ought to be done, what can wait until later, and what really doesn't matter all that much but could be done if we wanted. Last week, we took a car that we were about to buy in for a checkup before signing final paperwork. The guys at Action uncovered a major accident that the dealer had not disclosed. They showed us several serious problems and a couple minor unrelated problems, and advised us not to buy the car at any price. Saved us thousands in future repairs. They're not one of those places that has dirt cheap prices, but their prices are very fair. They're just honest guys doing honest work for fair prices. It is such a relief to have a mechanic that we really trust.
