I've often driven by this plain looking cafe, but didn't bother to stop expecting the same old stand bys. We were greeted by Betty the waitress as we came in and kept up a running patter as she made suggestions for lunch. The shrimp bisque she recc was delicious. Nice selection of homemade items not seen everywhere. Bread and fries were extremely fresh. She even offered to send a refill of my iced tea to go (at no extra charge), because it was a slow day. A pleasant find.
Pros: Fresh food, good selection, friendly service.
Cons: Ordinary looking, easy to overlook.
