Review content:
Truffles re-openned this week under new ownership and new management and it's a huge improvement. I talked to Susan and Mike, the new owners, they live in Lakewood and they want to bring Truffles back to what it used to be: a place where wonderful pastries are baked and served with the finest coffees and with an ambiance welcoming to the local community... so far, the improvements they've made show their dedication... I've been there each day and the pastries are fresh and the coffee is good. Oh yeah, and Susan is planning on openning earlier than 10am and also having soups, sandwiches, and more... I'm excited for the neighborhood... it's great to have a locally owned coffee house with owners that care.
Pros: Ambiance and caring owners are a big plus... and the pastries n coffee: great!
Cons: Parking in front during rush hour is limited however, side street parking is abundant.
