Businiess name:  Alverno College
Review by:  Laura E.
Review content:
Alverno is a great secret for the City of Miwaukee. It is a small, non co-ed liberal arts college, yet full of great things for the community. They have a wonderful program for children in the community that need speech assistance. If you are admitted, your child will be evaluated for free. They also have a wonderful fine arts school and the plays and musicals that are open to the public are marvelous! The library is old and quaint and open to the public. The perfect place to read or study, it reminds me of a library at Harvard. Alverno has a unique grading system in which letter grades are not given the huge importance they are in other schools. Parking is usually good, but during busy times, you may find yourself parking in a residential area and walking.
