I went to see a Dr. and saw Christensen Jean Arnp here this past Tuesday and was diagnosed with with Herpes. After telling me how sorry she was and handing me a box a tissues I asked if she should take a test to be certain. She said she would, but was certain that either me or my boyfriend was infected. I asked if it was possible that I had just cut myself since what I was showing signs of a yeast infection and had scratched in the area. She said ""No"" and that she was certain. She asked if I would like her to write me a prescription for Herpes medication. Being 39 yrs old and in a committed relationship for 3 yrs and before that married, I found it impossible to believe I had this disease, so I said not now. I asked how I could have this and never had shown symptoms. She said it was possible to sometimes not show signs for up to 15 yrs. I left the office in tears and was not asked to pay for the office at this time. I went to get blood work some where else after confronting my boyfriend. After a very stressful week of arguments with my boyfriend and sleepless nights I finally found that my results were negative, both from the lab and the Dr. office. I called and spoke to the manager, Lavane and explained what had happened. She had little compassion and explained that although I was not billed at the time I left the office I was being mailed a bill. It's unbelievable to me that A Dr. can practice medicine and be so incompetent. Being a women, I thought people would be interested in knowing what type of ""Doctors"" they will be dealing with if they go to this office. If I had known, i would have never stepped foot in this office.
